Sidse Carstens works with video, print, collage and performance. She has shown her work extensively on the Danish as well as the international art scene. She holds an MFA in animation directing from The National Film School of Denmark. Together with danish author Katrine Grünfeld, she is founder of the legendary Salon Valerie Galner. They curate and present art shows, music, literature, film and performance art. Valerie Galner exists in one place only, for one evening only.
